At Ensoft, we specialise in developing the highly complex software that runs some of the most cutting-edge communications devices in the world. It's complicated, it must be exceptionally reliable and resilient, and we're constantly adding new technologies and capabilities. It takes innovation, creativity, and exceptional engineering.
For the techies
We have expertise in pretty much all areas of service provider networking, including:
- Routing and switching (BGP, all the IGPs, MPLS, multicast etc)
- Carrier Ethernet (IEEE technologies, pseudowires and VPLS, E-OAM etc)
- Residential subscriber management (eg PPP/IP sessions, scalable wholesale access)
- Embedded services (eg session border control, security services)
- All the "hidden" functionality and craft that goes into high-end carrier class devices

Odds are, this web page arrived on your screen courtesy of at least one device running our software. Over time, the same will be increasingly true whenever you make a phone call, use a cash machine, or watch television. We help the world to communicate.
Working at Ensoft
Because the company is quite small you can take on responsibility early, but there is a well defined chain of support so that you are never on your own if things go wrong or you get stuck.
